As a marketing subject matter expert with approximately fifteen years of personalized, direct marketing and management experience, Kathy Swanson has successfully helped a variety of companies identify, understand, and communicate with their customers more effectively through the application of sophisticated strategic planning, online relationship marketing functionality, direct marketing, project management, program execution, business intelligence, analytical, and database marketing techniques. The solutions she implements result in increased profits and the creation of sustainable competitive advantages for each of her clients.
Ms. Swanson’s use of an integrated, collaborative approach allows her to quickly translate each business’s strategic needs into actionable, results-oriented initiatives. Her approach has proven to be extremely successful in achieving business goals by ensuring initiatives are on target, on time, and within budget.
Her experience ranges across a variety of companies from Fortune 500 corporations to small and mid-sized local businesses, throughout a variety of value-driven industries, including financial services, specialty retailers, technology providers, and not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. Swanson holds a Masters of Business Administration in Executive Decision Making from the University of Memphis. She is also a graduate of Rhodes College, where she received her degree in Academic Psychology.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association and is currently awaiting Six Sigma Greenbelt and Project Management certifications. She is also involved in the North Chamber of Commerce in San Antonio, the Rotary Club of San Antonio, and holds leadership positions within the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and TheFund (San Antonio's Arts, Culture, and Community giving program.)
Strategic Direct Marketing Solutions holds Small Business / Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certifications from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA).
